Tony Glander is a glass artist and national instructor who lives in Rockville, Maryland. He has been professionally involved in stained glass for over 30 years. He ran a stained glass retail store in Olde Towne Gaithersburg for 12 years and was a resident artist at the City of Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn for 15 years. He has run the education department at Anything in Stained Glass in Frederick as well as running Fitzpatrick Glass Studios. He has completed thousands of stained glass commissions in the DMV area for homes, churches and businesses. He is an award-winning artist for his work in fused glass. He is a former president of the American Glass Guild. He has written articles for Professional Glass as well as Glass Art magazine and teaches webinars through Glass Art. He has been inspired by many of the glass industries best and brightest.
Tony will speak on stained glass fabrication and techniques as well as fused glass methods. He will share artists and their work that have inspired him with traditional glass art sometimes in non-traditional methods! He strives to entertain with his glass studio stories.
